It was originally written for the annual writing competition, NaNoWriMo, which I have taken part in. I am only part way through it, but it is compelling from the start. It is about a circus that is only open from dusk until dawn. There are multiple angles the story is told from and while this is confusing at first, it begins to become clear when they come together.

I recently got a French cooking magazine and this recipe jumped out at me. I just used tart pie cherries from a can instead of fresh ones so much easier than pitting that many!
