Monday, December 11, 2006. The final push of the tour saw Opera North head back up the country to Newcastle-upon-Tyne and the lovely Theatre Royal. It is always a joy to visit this highly individual city. I usually stay in an hotel in the centre, however this time the call of the on the Northumberland coast was too great and I found myself staying in a big house near Seahouses. This fantastic journey has come to an end.
