The Brunel Broderers are a group of artists based in the South West of England who work in a variety of textile media and methodologies. Today their work defies a neat title encompassing as it does a diverse range of approaches, methods and materials to create a series of ideas for thematic schemes and exhibitions. These little pieces of embroidered and folded cloth measure no more than 3 inches in height, one of them is a mere inch and a half. They are adornments, titivations for an edge. They will run down the side of one of the pages of my sample, swatch, book thingy. the one I spoke about yesterday. I will show you when that is done.

Cloth seduces the practitioner with beauty, utility, history and a wealth of technical knowledge. I have completed all of my 250 samples in my research.
