This old black crow again. Wings tacked in pinioned lines. Sheen like the slick of oil. And the air draws tight. Unfurled and rippling, scratch scratch at the pounded earth. A single beat, a reverberation. Everything I learned this year. And I know as we age our tongues grow numb from lying. And I know in chronological and alphabetical order, nothing.

I just want to be okay again. I was recently hospitalized for another week and a half. I self harmed a lot. And I attempted suicide there. Now I feel better, though.

Hope is the anchor of my soul. The beginning of my faltering journey out of anorexia. So progress, I guess, but still very much coping with fear foods and grocery shopping meltdowns and obsessing and temptation to restrict and to lose. Long time, no type. And Friday, if I am brave, bumping up my intake.
