My journey from a brachytoe to a normal toe. Through surgery! Wednesday, August 8, 2012. it only took 8 mins! I woke up and my foot was wrapped up as pictured below. I have a little swelling which is to be expected. I have a lil pain when I walk, but its ok. Wednesday, August 1, 2012.

My journey to saying goodbye to Brachymetatarsia. My toes are much more flexible and I am able to bend them further then I did a few weeks ago. They also stated " 3 times a week for the next month. He said if things go as planned, I should be able to get out of my boot and into a shoe after I do therapy. Yippee! Day 121 Im alive! The fixator dug into my skin creating a very bad wound. He removed it when it got to this point! My foot after the fixator was removed.
