I took the photos around Williamstown and I think they came out quite beautiful and have an old fashioned feel to them. A blog for PPPM 280. As many classmates have mentioned, there was a sense of freedom in this class with assignments. This was beneficial for me as it gave me an opportunity to focus more on areas of the nonprofit sector that relate to my major.

Thursday, June 3, 2010. These last 3 weeks have been crazy. Two papers and one final project down. Three finals and ten pages to go. In my last blog I left you hanging because I had to go rock climbing with some friends and we were talking about NGOs. So the Chinese government has a lot. Of control over the NGOs. But maybe in time this will change. China is slowly changing each day into a more democratic nation.
Wednesday, June 2, 2010. Monday, May 17, 2010. Other staggering statistic, which stood out to me, was two thousand trees a minute are being cut down in the Amazon. A minute! I cannot even wrap my head around that. Now I know the Amazon rainforest is a large forest with thousands upon thousands of trees, but really two thousand a minute? How is there any rainforest left?
