In my social media class this semester I have learned how to use a variety of different social networking sites, and how to connect each one to better promote myself and my work.

My experience this semester has been an interesting one. I have learnt that it is good to keep your social media accounts consistent and similar so that it is easier to find you. As well as the more stuff you have online the easier it is to find yourself. I plan to continue to use LinkedIn and Behance a lot more in the future.

We have learned a lot of different ways to self promote to the public with the different kinds of portfolio sharing websites. So that when people search for you on Google you will be coming up in the first few links about anything that is regarding to yourself. And tagged 1 year last blog post.

The last dozen weeks were a very different experience for me. I could stick with wordpress, but I highly doubt I will.

Moving forward after this course I will continue to market myself as much and as often as possible through my various social media accounts. The more often you post, the more likely you are to show up on search engines that will lead others to your page. If all goes well, you may be at the top of that list one day.
