Tired, wet, dirty and happy. In 2011, I through-hiked the Appalachian Trail from Georgia to Maine. In the summer of 2012, I hiked the Colorado Trail from Denver to Durango. I like walking, and adventuring, and good cheese. Tuesday, July 10, 2012. Trail work, trail pals, moonlighting and rain. Going to the woods is going home. This is so very apparent on a through-hike; that the woods are your home.
