The result is more of paste than a pastry. It is easy to make, but care must be taken in measuring the ingredients. The recipe below makes 18 profiteroles or 12 eclairs.
He swore it was one of his favorite desserts, so I gave it a try. This crockpot version is an even-easier, hands-off take on the recipe. 2 cups packed brown sugar. 4 tablespoons butter, melted.
