Hervey Bay Whale Watching 17th October 2015. Fortunately I had a fantastic morning. I have never seen so many whales and calves and when you look at some of my photos, you will see how close they came to the boat.
These are photos of my trips to Africa. Everything not cats, dogs or elephants. Besides the obvious draw of elephants on the Chobe, there was still plenty more to watch. really not as close as he appears. This is probably my favorite. 160; It was hard for me to get decent exposure because the animal is very dark and it was quite bright out.
A trek 40 years in the making to Everest Base Camp 5364m. Hints and Tips for trekking to Everest Base Camp. Powered by a solar panel, the camera is locked in place on Kala Pattar. I have been watching this camera for a long time now and today is the first time I have seen a clear image of the Almighty Mt Everest. The webcam can be viewed here. Monticello Canyon 4 Wheel Drive Trail Run. On Saturday, 12 Oct 13, Bill and I had a great and fun adventure taking a trail run with several members of the Desert Mountain 4 Wheel Drive Club from Alamogordo, NM. There were also members of the Ruidoso Ridge Runners 4 Wheel Drive Club. I also heard there was a vehicle from Deming. We were also honored to have a World War II veteran with us.
