How can you as a student contribute to sustainability? Jicperlas on Polillo Island. This small island located near Quezon province is ranked as the 16th among the largest islands in the Philippines; and is the biggest of the 27 islands and islets comprising the Polillo archipelago, a group of islands situated in Lamon Bay off the north eastern coast of Luzon. As to climate, the island receives less rain throughout the year.

8220;Agusan Marsh Wildlife Sanctuary, protected by law, covers an area of 14,835. The area was given Ramsar site status in 1999. The Marsh is a valuable habitat for water birds such as species of wild ducks, herons and egrets.

The Ursula Island Game Refuge and Bird Sanctuary. The Ursula Island Game Refuge and Bird Sanctuary were declared through Administrative Order No. 14 on April 30, 1960. This island has been promoted in the past as an ecotourism destination in southern Palawan, but it is apparently not visited. By many tourists at present maybe because they wanted to preserve and protect the site due to the numerous species living there. Would be really worth it for all nature lover and adventurers.
