Wednesday, March 13, 2013. I think she might be right. The day included a field trip to the zoo followed by an awards ceremony with cupcakes decorated with frosting in every color of the rainbow. The kids rode to the zoo in charter buses and watched a movie for part of the 90-minute trip. After lunch, we toured the rest of the zoo and found bison, elk, bears who walked over for a close-up view of us, seals, and lots of snakes.

Thursday, January 7, 2016. Where do I begin? I went back and forth over what I felt the gender of the baby was. All I knew was that I felt so different and huge. And pretty gosh darn uncomfortable. My due date was January 6th, but this new doctor scheduled me for a c-section on the 7th. Scott was in charge of pictures. I love that he took a selfie. I was a ball of nerves. It was the fear of knowing. They asked if we wanted our picture taken. Ha ha! Cordelia visiting the next afternoon. Just look at him! .
