I feel obliged to mention that here in north Austin, we got away relatively lightly. Many parts of Central Texas are aggregiously flooded. Businesses are ruined, highways are under water, school is cancelled, homes are washed out, and most importantly, lives are lost. We just had another scary afternoon, and some closed roads.
