A solo journey pedaling from Wisconsin to Washington. The wind was whipping pretty good, not like Monday, but enough to eventually dampen my spirits for the afternoon. I rode until nearly dark to Wilbur. Someone was trying to open a cafe in the old school gym, using the concession area. It will never be a draw, but she made me an omelette and I had iced tea, while cleaning up my gears and chain.

Sole Hope, The Nester, and a Big Honkin Tree. I found out about Sole Hope. Almost three years ago at the Allume Conference. I was first drawn to the Sole Hope table by their super cool t-shirts. They also had some type of pattern cutting kit that you could purchase to make shoes for kids in Uganda. What the what! I could cut fabric anddddd help kids in Africa! And cutting shoe patterns out of my old jeans.
