On the first day of February 2012 I vowed not to shave or cut my hair until I managed to kick start a writing career. As of today, January 3. 2015, no work of mine has come out in print or aside from a short autobiographical essay and several self-made blogs been published online. The view is no different from the shoulders of these giants, for they are buried in the ground. My resolve was quickly tested by a series of form rejection slips.
This weblog is dedicated to romanticizing small cabins and dwellings. I built my first hut at the age of twenty. Like Thoreau, I wanted to secede from society and live with nature. Until that day, I strive to use recycled and discarded materials from my day job as a carpen.
