Canyons CSI 2013 Coral and Sponge Investigations. Weve seen amazing and beautiful animals living in these deep water canyons, many of which I did not recognize. During the progression of each tow I find myself asking the scientists around me, What is that? But that is what science is all about being curious and trying to obtain the answers. Image highlights from the 2013 Canyons CSI research expedition. The structure of a coral. So what do we see in the images that are being sent back? At least 71 spe.

Jurassic Expedition Journey to the Real Jurassic Park!

Before heading to the airport for our flight home, we visited the Denver Museum of Nature and Science. This amazing museum has three floors of exhibits, including dinosaurs and fossils, rocks and minerals, Egyptian mummies, health, space, and wildlife. As a tribute to Malcolm, the paleontologist we worked with, we took a picture in the Egyptia.
