Writers turn to social media. Last year I wrote several pieces. On the digitisation of the publishing industry, so I was interested to hear Margaret Atwood championing Wattpad. The site allows users to upload story extracts as they write and receive feedback from online readers. Unpublished writers can build a fan base and reach a global audience. Welcome to CRECS, the Cardiff Romanticism and Eighteenth-Century Seminar, the aims of which are to support research and stimulate discussion into literary and cultural studies between 1680 and 1840 in and around Cardiff University. Report on CRECS Sound and Vision, 28 Apr 2015.

Following an extended delay after migrating to a new platform, Issue 21 of Romantic Textualities. These twin issues are stimulated by a colloquium convened on the topic by the Centre for Editorial and Intertextual Research. At Cardiff University in 2009, and supported in part by the British Association for Romantic Studies.

In the first week of September I attended one day of the CILIP RBSCG. Where they have possibly the comfiest conference seats I have ever sat on. The conference had been divided up into six sessions, and I was there for the final two. Session five was uncovering your collections - promotion.
