Ah yes, the amazing teacher of my first month of Thai language lessons. She is the queen of communication! Whatever she had to do to get us to understand the Thai word or phrase, she did, whether it was draw it, act it out, show it in a picture, or build off of whatever other Thai words we knew.

Wednesday, April 27, 2011. I got back to my house in Yakima really early on a Thursday morning. The next day I drove down to Walla Walla to see friends. I walked into the place where I used to work, and immediately got offered a job. Just like that - without even trying! I like that I lived in Nepal for 8 m.
