I have seen perspectives that I would have never found in the West. I have engaged in startling and interesting dialogues and made contacts that will aid me in the future. What a long strange trip its been. By colbycremins on June 11, 2009. While I am sure that the late great Jerry Garcia did not have the Middle East in mind when he penned the classic Dead song, I can think of none more appropriate than that to sum up my experience in this wonderfully amazing, confusing, scary, loving, poor, wealthy, beautiful, war torn, foreign land.
