Students taking this course come from a wide variety of contexts. Some will be classroom teachers from the k-12 system, some trainers in the corporate world or faculty members at a university. The needs and requirements of different participants will not be the same and learners in the course will not be required to come out of the course with the same thing.

Sarah did her presentation on probability and had us draw a probability tree with SmartDraw. Darcey gave us a very informative presentation on heart attack. I think we all learned a lot about looking after ourseves. We got a chance to hear his views on Open Education and h.

The second and third presentations were able to be integrated which was terrific. Jean showed us how to get a great avatar and Chris was able to take that avatar and show us how to crop it and then change the size without changing the image. The last presentation was on making a schedule using google docs. I was very interested in this because I could see it being a great tool in our school for booking computer labs, gyms, classrooms, etc.

Friday, June 20, 2014. A better way to help. I will elaborate on each of these issues and focus on how they might relate to Brazil during the 2014 World Cup. By understanding these problems and being critical of volunteer and development organizations, tourists who wish to help local communities can better inform themselves and have a greater positive impact.
