Painted, dyed, printed, collaged and stitched silks. But it hardly matters - these intriguing black birds are everywhere in the fields, in all seasons. They are noisy and bickering but their noise was far preferable to the noise of cars and the sighs and wailing of desperate motorists on the A1! Perhaps I imagined that - or maybe not! And the air was fresh and wonderful. When I got home I knew I had to capture this particular walk, and so here it is.
