I have always loved teaching children but I have a passion for teaching those children and families who may have children who are chronically ill. For those families having someone there who is not a doctor or nurse who is just there to help may bring those children and families some comfort.

The third biases are everywhere and as early childhood teachers we need to push to make sure that all parties involved are doing what they can to teach children that everyone is special no matter their race, religion, ethnicity, gender or sexual orientation. My long term goal is to open a small center based program that I will still be able to teach in as well as be the director. Appealing on a National Level.
