Boy, was that stressful! We had yummy food, a diaper cake, presents, lots of pumpkins, and fun. Her mom came, and was very sweet. Aayush was home from the NICU so he got to come too! He is so tiny at 5 pounds, but is cute as can be. He took to them so easily! He enjoyed watching the gorillas.

Friday, October 26, 2012. These things go straight to my thighs. Clara is getting pretty skilled in the art of feeding herself. Unfortunately, this can lead to a bit of overconfidence, such as today, when she tried to eat an entire rice cake in one go. She soon learn how difficult it is to eat something bigger than your whole mouth in one bite. Later she may learn that in our family these starchy snacks go straight to the thighs.
