Thursday, April 5, 2012. You see this little girl? Well, she has been having a BIG year! Probably the most eventful of her life. I have been asked to be a photographer part time for her agency. Big stuff for the both of us and LOTS of fun! Still gets picked up daily.
Changing from a typical American diet to a more MediterrAsian style of eating. Chicken Souvlaki and Greek Potato Salad. Tonight was the first great BBQ weather of May. I decided to go Greek. It was a fabulous dinner. Next time I may add some cucumbers in yogurt sauce, but there was not time to make that side dish today. 4 T fresh lemon juice. 3 4 T extra virgin olive oil.

My culinary attempts to feed the family. Normally I make gazpacho as a side dish, but wanted to serve it as a main dish this week. We are experiencing a heat wave in the Seattle area and using the oven or stove is unthinkable.
