Knowledge Virtuoso - the Beginning of a learning journey. I look forward to this new chapter in my life as I work towards gaining my teacher librarian qualification and convincing a school to let me take charge of their library. Wednesday, July 30, 2014. ETL 507 - Placement Report. I undertook my placement at Penrith City Library, which is run by Penrith Council. Most of my time was spent in the main branch of the library, the centre at Penrith, so that is where I will focus the bulk of my report.
Getting back into it! August 23, 2011. Well after the hours of writng the 1st assignment finally back onto the blog. I found the readings for the assignment very useful, not just for Uni but how I look at my own library. Some great ideas, some that I hope to implement! ETL 504 Teacher Librarian as a Leader. It brought two assignment tasks. For the first assignment we had to reflect on different leadership styles and how we would deal with these leaders. Also we had to write a planning brief about a PD that we would like to offer, using the CBAM model. Half of the Master course is now over and I certainly look back on a very steep learning curve.
