Each book that I have read has shown how the media, literature and music played such a huge role in the dispersal of the movement. Not only that, but the various social movements that people were involved in, challenged people to openly express their need for peace, love .

I used my nose to measure everything else, so the proportions in my drawing are pretty close. So I have completed my Self Portrait! It was interesting to see all the assymmetrical parts of me, blemishes and shadows cast by the light. I think I could have made my lips darker but the specific marks I made to make my lips look more realistic would have to be covered with charKohl and I was pressed for time.

If you have no hope, invent. Right before spring break, we did an activity where we were given a word and had to create that word visually using pieces of paper. Overall, it was a very fun project. It helped me expand my mind and think about art in a new way.

The mouth looked so much better after I corrected its size. It was very important to use the string to have the correct measurement first! I started drawing my cheeks. It took me very long time to develop the undefined parts like cheeks. There was no shape, no line; but only value.
