The picture above is of the waterfront in Cape Town. And in the background is Table Mountain. This flat topped mountain dominates the city, famous for its table cloth, a white cloud that descends from time to time. I never think of Table Mountain. Without remembering my Dad, David Douglas Watson. He spent time studying in this lovely city, one of the most beautiful in the world. He often talked of this mountain and of Cape Town. It was eighteen years since I had last seen my brother when he visited me here in Toronto in 1999. And then there are people like Sue Mosteller, my friend and spiritual mentor. She has known my story for many years. Her door is always open and I continue to receive so much support and good guidance. She has also been instrumental in helping me move forward. So, I am now in a place where have all this support and I am able to speak and live a little more freely.
