I noticed that the web site stated " It has been snowing quite heavily last weekend which was quite unfortunate as my central heating broke down and I have not had hot water since but thats not what Im going to write about today." Living in a van, down by the river

Living in a van, down by the river. Monday, February 14, 2011. It all started last Sunday with an unfriendly wake up of 2 am, a frantic pack, all in order to be ready for the 3 am pick up. This is what skiing is all about. Waiting around out on the street for a ride at 3 am. Skiis and backpack on the yellow snow bank. The world around Rossland is quiet and still. A quick drive back to the information centre for another permit necessary to ski another area in the park .

Saturday, September 12, 2009. So I am getting married in 5 weeks. I start a 2 month teaching post on Tuesday in grade 1. I am getting my dress fitted this morning in Vancouver. I have a family bridal shower this evening. We are hopefully meeting with the pastor tomorrow to discuss the ceremony.
