Monday, June 8, 2015. In Cambridge I proposed the idea, to the Wednesday physics lunch gang, that we put our heads together and come up with a design that we could build together. After much banter, brainstorming, and abandonment of seriously ridiculous ideas we came up with the notion of a square wheeled boat.

We all are going this way. My Christmas and new years are never going to be the same again. 2 January on the evening my mother lost the battle with her illness and just slept in. I was on the way to her and it felt like a failure not to come to her in that moment, I felt like I left her there to die alone and she died hating me. I hope mum met my father now and that they are having their time.
