After only a couple 20 milers since the first part of March I am registered to do a 62 miler in the Tour de Rock. Did it last year and it was a blast, though I did train for it and rode hard. Friday, December 9, 2011. I went on to do the Hobbitom. Challenge in March, which is a half marathon on Saturday and the Little Rock Marathon on Sunday. I was hurting by the end of marathon day, but I did PR on the marathon course.

Thursday, January 13, 2011. 2010 - A Maniacal Year. Mississippi Blues Marathon - Jackson Mississippi. This was my first marathon as a Maniac and the experience fueled our Marathon fever! It was 9 degrees at the start and a very hilly course but all the maniac love made it bearable and almost enjoyable! Especially the time spent running with Carol and Larry.

Well, not much new to report as far as my running goes. new orleans is coming up in a couple of weekends. raquel and i are excited about going down there. unfortunately, for me, my enthusiasm is lacking. my heart has just been pissing me off lately! Coincidences, celebrations, and cardiologists.

MISCELLANEOUS RAMBLINGS OF A SLOW POKE. Saturday, January 24, 2009. Rock N Roll Half Marathon. I did go out and complete the Rock N Roll Half Marathon, and loved every minute of it. It I was still pretty sick, but it all went well.

Thursday, March 5, 2009. Saturday - 15 mile run on Little Rock Half Marathon course. Wednesday - 5 mile easy run at lunch and then upper body weight workout at home.
