I noticed that the web site stated " George and Mary Kay decided to introduce us to one of their favorite restaurants in the area Chiringo." They also stated " Just outside of Chiringo, we were greeted by employees expertly cleaning, filleting and shucking a vast variety of local fish and mollusks. Welcome home to our Island. As most of you know, Hurricane Sandy was to hit Exuma from the north west at approximately 2 pm today with winds in excess of 105 sustained and up to 140 mph gusts. That was my perfect excuse to prepare crumpets, bacon, sausage and eggs. Thank God for such an awesome trip. We certainly have more respect for the water after this trip. We enjoyed it so much that we plan to visit many more islands in the Bahamas.
