Sunday, February 11, 2018. Bar Harbor Maine, Acadia National Park, St Andrews Canada. We were fortunate to do a lot of traveling in 2017. This trip came in as my second favorite with Italy as my first. We made this trip as a tri-cation with REV3 having a triathlon in St Andrews Canada.
We tried to take photos of all the food we ate, just so I could do a blog post about it. Honestly - eating in NY was one of the best parts about it. Our friend has been telling us about THE BEST gyro cart. When we called him to find out where it was - it was only a few blocks away from us. It was delicious - and messy. A little ice cream cone from someone with a cooler on a cart. Which I almost forgot to take a photo of. I want to recreate this at home.
Monday, February 9, 2015. Amazing feats of strength and endurance! Our Ruby is a climber. She climbed up onto our dining table before she was a year old. Anyhow, she has been taking a real rock-climbing class for the past eight months or so. It is fun and challenging. and she climbed 35 laps! The wall is 35 feet high. So she climbed 1225 feet up. Thursday, November 08, 2012. Shortly after getting back from Utah, I flew down to Southern California with my bookclub for a long weekend on Catalina Island. It was awesome! It was a ten year anniversary trip for the bookclub, but somehow I lucked out and got asked to join last year.
