70 years ago today, the US military dropped an atomic bomb on Hiroshima. Because the hospitals were destroyed, and because of the following US occupation, no accurate death toll exists. But it might be conservative to say that 140,000 people were murdered, and tens of thousands more were injured. The US has never apologized for this terror.
