Doug Schatz has an undergraduate degree in art and geology from Skidmore College, and received an MFA in sculpture from the University of Kentucky in 1999. He has been an art educator in sculpture since 1999. Doug has taught at Middle Tennessee State University, Watkins College of Art and Design, currently teaches at the State University of New York in Potsdam, NY.
