It was lovely to be able to open up the school to share our achievements. The sun shone as families rose to the den building challenge. Children enjoyed sharing their work with their parents whilst sitting outside on the meadow. Others had fun sharing their programming skills with parents and governors.

Day Two at Aylmerton . July 16, 2015. Eagle Eye and Bo-beep our instructors guided us through a multitude of different habitats including sand dunes, marshes and stoney beaches. The children learned how each habitat supported different animals and plant life, as well having having erosion, transportation and deposition explained to them in a place where it was actually happening! As a thank you to our buddies, we shared an ice cream breakfast. Earlier in the week we designed our favourite ice cream and calculated how much it would cost. Then we wrote to our Year 5 and 6 buddies to invite them to come for an ice cream. We wish all parents and children a happy and safe holiday. See you in September! From the Praying Mantis team.
