Sports Sound-Off was a radio show on KUGR. org, Saturdays from 8-10pm, put on by Matthew Zimmer, Kyle Nishida, Matthew Segal and Justin Rice. This is the final version of my video story for Communication 210. I spent two separate days gathering the footage. Most of it was taken in Pullman and on the surrounding highways, although a small portion was taken at the Whitman County Landfill. The sounds for the video came from freesounds. The narration is my own voice. The video begins with me driving to the dump, and a short shot of the sign.

Earlier this year, Steve Montador was found dead in his house. Montador was a defense-man in the NHL and was also what is referred to as an enforcer. An enforcer is someone who retaliates with violence after a teammate takes a particularly rough or dirty hit from a player of the opposing team. Montador was also only 35 years old.

The article I chose is called. Through them, I can hear the crack of the bat, the clink of the change he drops into the parking meter, smell the grass and the dust.
