I noticed that the web site stated " It was interesting to see what age groups they were teaching and if they were targeting more the parents or students to follow or interact with them online." I plan on using a lot of Youtube. Another negative to Youtube is the more recent addition of video posters being allowed to post comments within the video. I will need to evaluate each video before presenting it to be sure no comments have been made using inappropriate language or comments that are not relative to my material. Another concern would be that comments may cover visual aspects of the video that may be important in the overall viewing.
A topic I found most interesting from my classmates blogs was the topic about the concept maps. I enjoyed reading why people liked and disliked using the concept maps. I also enjoyed seeing different pictures of the concept maps that people made. I really like using the concept maps they were an easy way to help the students stay engage in what we are learning. I grew up with technology all around me and all the stud.
Furthermore, new or improved ideas of ways to teach using computer programs and just technology in general. As I look into the future I hope to learn more about SmartBoards and what they are all about, as well as how to master them because of what they can offer in the classroom.
