Flailing my way through the sea of grappling phenoms! Tuesday, September 3, 2013. But, despite how fun the trip was, I was nervous the whole way there. To assess my strengths and weaknesses. To have fun with my teammates. To see other fighters grapple and learn from them. And I feel you have to make up your mind that you are going to win before you ever see the opponent you are facing. I regained the upper hand in both of those fights.

This started as a blog about training together as a family, in part to inspire other women and families to get involved.

Started jiu jitsu in sept 2010 for cross training during the mountain bike off-season. I am hooked - so fun! Friday, April 22, 2011. November and December I attended class sporadically. In December - my gym closed. NOW - the Breck Epic.
