My karyotype testing for a possible balanced translocation of genes, which would cause a genetic predisposition for any additional children I conceive to have down syndrome, came back negative. Words not often used to describe me, but I have scientific proof that, as stated by the lab, that I have a Normal Female Karyotype . The idea of creating another life while still grieving his is just too much for me right now.

I want people to know what to expect and how to cope before it happens to them. If anyone has any ideas please let me know.

Time Is Not On My Side. maybe seeing a different doctor with a different perspective will give us a different chance . I have an appointment with my current RE on January 6th, and the new RE on February 2nd.
