A Simple But Effective Way to Contribute to Open Source Projects. I use open source code every day. Or the myriad of Ruby gems. Out there, open source is part of my life and work. It all started when I used the MetaInspector. Once I updated the tests, I submitted a pull request. The maintainer of the gem, replied to me within minutes. My own small but meaningful contribution to an open source project. It made me feel great that day! January 8, 2015.
