There is plenty of research into how music affects the way we shop, for example, we are more likely to spend more money on flowers when romantic music is playing, we buy french wine when french music is playing and we spend more time in restaurants playing slow music, thus running up a higher tab. In conclusion it is not the happiest time for ski resorts so they must do all that they can to ensure that they continue to attract new consumers or the chances are they could fold and this would spell trouble for the economies who depend on the income from tourism from winter mountain sports.
