Tuesday, January 13, 2015. So I decided to take the plunge and join Donna Downey in her Inspiration Wednesday 2015 class. I started out following along closely, using gesso, super heavy gesso and molding paste. I also deciding on using a few things from Club Scrap! Sunday, August 24, 2014. More Creative Projects by Carol D. Asian card for Card Art. Needed to incorporate part of a gold napkin. Christmas Card and elephant card also had parts of a gold napkin. Made with layers of paper and egg shells then painted. Sr Citizens expanded their art projects this year to include Mini-Albums recycling the toilet paper rolls they collected.

I was most excited when I spotted this Knitknack owl kit on notonthehighstreet. It came in two sizes -baby and cushion. My husband persuaded me that baby size would be best as my younger cat, Dexter, has a penchant for woolly cushions, especially alpaca ones. I do like to embellish, so the final flourish was a cream felt bow from stash, that I attached to one of the ears with a corduroy brad.

Sunday, May 1, 2011. A little snack for the teacher. I saw an idea earlier this year where the blogger had used a Stampin Up door hanger as a drink hanger. It was such a cute idea, but she said that Stampin Up had discontinued the door hangers. Now that I have my Gypsy, I decided that I could make my own and use the idea for teacher appreciation week.
