Items I am Licensed to Knit. Saturday, June 2, 2012. I am here to reveal two beautiful test knits that I have completed recently. First is Katniss, by Julia Stanfield. This is a fabulous pattern that both looks fantastic and is also incredibly practical. Tess loves it and refuses to take the hood off - even indoors! Weekend I went to with a bunch of friends.
Wednesday, August 11, 2010. I have been redecorating our lounge over the past few months and have finally got into the fun parts - the ART. First off is this piece. I bought the canvases from Tanjis. Which seemed like a really good price and speedy delivery. The letters and numbers are from Spotlight. Was pretty simple but very effective. Have been thinking of adding to it. Monday, May 7, 2012. Oddly, for me that usually ends up being a shawl or scarf, because a girl with only one neck needs an unlimited number of shawls and scarves! So between procrastination about how to finish some of the WIPs that have been haunting this place I decided to cast on a Multnomah. Monday, April 9, 2012.
Creative musings of the insomniac crafter. Knitting has been very slow this winter. I decided to knit a scarf. In the spirit of this time of year I have decided to have a wee giveaway. I currently have it running on my Ravelry group Here. But thought I would spread the love a little more too. I have a skein of a lovely silk merino lace weight yarn sitting in my stash, which is not getting the love it rightly deserves. I would love to send it as a special New Years gift to someone who will give it a good home.
