What is the Philadelphia Mural Arts Program? The Philadelphia Mural Arts Program is a program that has several focuses. The first is to bring more art to the public. Another is to help and educate underserved youth in Philadelphia. A third is to bring together the public and artist in a community setting. The steps to creating a mural are quite complex and can take from three to six months to complete.

On July 23, 2009 I administered a survey for the Temple University Community and Regional Planning department using the on-line survey software Survey Monkey. The survey was distributed to 10 people including students of the Internet and Digital Technologies class as well as people on my e-mail contact list.
