They also stated " So theres nothing left to do. The start is almost here and Im finishing my training schedule with a couple of 5 mile warm-down runs before we head to London by car ready for my early morning start on Friday. Monday, August 25, 2008. Sunday, October 07, 2007. Bar-Tailed Godwit at Famosa Slough. This morning I headed back to Famosa Slough to try to get another look at the Bar-tailed Godwit, and maybe get a couple pictures at the same time. He did eventually show up, but by then the lighting was pretty bad. I snapped a few shots anyway. Right around the same time a pair of Osprey showed up.
