The site had the following in the homepage, "Sundays club ride up Mont Ventoux." I noticed that the web site stated " Summer seems finally here with Rhône valley in the upper eighties, but climbing Mt Ventoux the air progressively cools here are the final switchbacks to the summit." They also stated " Video clip of the ride from Sault back down into the Toulourenc valley. A day of mist and rain. So rest, bike maintenance and pâté en croute. Filed under Cycling Greenways Vienna to Prague. Rozmberk via Vyssi Brod and Rozmilal na Sumave to Cesky Krumlov. Out of Rozmberk you cycle south along the secondary highway 160 that soon becomes 163. The road follows Vltava River, always on your right, all the way to Vyssi Brod. During summer the river is a popular destination for kayakers and rafters who launch just below Lipno Dam, short distance beyond Vyssi Brod.
Friday, September 18, 2009. Making the ceremonial front wheel dip in the Colombia river! The rear wheel was dipped in the York river 3 months prior. Minutes before, we met Home Free, a hippie traveling by sailboat up the coast. Sea lions crowded the Astoria docks. They were lying about barking and hooting. Others would hop onto the dock from the water, soaking a sunbather and creating an uproar heard across town.
