Day Seventy-Five - Grand Finale. Made a bit of a mess of the back seat. Tuesday, 14 July 2009.
For me, this blog was a personal project, just so people could follow along, know where I was and how I was doing, and hear about the people I met and the things I saw. And so I am not compelled to wrap this story neatly as I often do into something simple and digestible. But, I will say a few things. Gourmet living, Amtrak style.
Exploring South Island by bicycle. Three weeks have passed since completing the tour. I have filtered through the thousand plus photos. That were taken along the way, the bike has been rebuilt, a few maps were drawn up for the route section. So in short, I have had time to reflect on the events. If I had the chance to do it again I would definitely give myself an extra month to allow fo.

Between the 13th May and 8th August 2008 I cycled solo across America from Washington DC to Seattle. The 7500Km 4660 mile journey passed through thirteen states and two Canadian Provinces.
