Educational Media Design and Technology blog and action plan. Increasing Student Involvement in the Classroom via Technology. The problem at my school is lack of motivation, lack of classroom involvement and increased absenteeism. The purpose of my action research is to increase the level of student involvement in my biology class through the use of technology and encouraging Brain-based learning and Multiple Intelligences. The purpose of my action research is to foster parental involvement with technology tools to communicate effectively and collaborate with the school. I began in this direction based on asking what would happen if parents were given technology tools to communicate more effectively with schools administration and teachers and if students were given additional educational resources outside of the school walls. Would they feel more comfortable? What they believe they are being more proactive? .
The purpose of my action research is to determine how to increase student motivation in the classroom by incorporating multimedia stimulation in with the students learning.
