On a magically free Saturday, I decided I was well overdue to check out St. S brand new brewery and tap room. Located in the heart of Ephrata PA, St. Boniface Brewing has been open since 2010, but moved to their new facilities in 2013. The last time I went to see them was in 2012 at their old building where you literally walked right into the brewery for a few samples. It was definitely time for a return.

Investigating microbial communities using genomics. I am a research assistant completing my Ph. At the University of Colorado at Boulder. I study microbial communities in order to understand why they differ across locations and environments and to understand the functional implications of these differences. For example, some of my work has assessed the effects of elevated nutrient inputs on microbial communities from global grassland soils.
