Unfortunately the first church was at the top of the mountain and we were at the bottom. We started out myself, my parents and the other volunteer from Adigrat and the very enthusiastic guide and his assistants. The guide implied the church was an easy walk from where we started. I noticed that the web site stated " I did feel slightly edgy that the departure from London hadnt released the gate number half an hour before we were meant to take off."
